Alford Shafton Moore, 75, of Greenhill, passed away Friday, October 15, 2010 at ECM Hospital in Florence. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Labor Local #366, and retired from T.V.A. He served in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include:
Wife: Mary Ruth McMurtrey Moore

Jeffrey W. Moore
Richard A. Moore
Michael S. Herston
Ken Dancause
Sister: Marie Curenton
(4) Grandchildren
Preceded in death by:
Parents : General S. Moore and Necie Moore
Brothers: Dillard Hill, Arvid Moore, and Grafton Moore
Sister: Corrine Moore
Visitation will be Sunday, October 17, 2010 from 12:00-2:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Bro. Charles Kretzer officiating. Burial will be in Canerday Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Butler, Harold Thompson, Tim Clanton, Wayne Phillips, Shannon Clanton, and Casey Herston.
Honorary pallbearers will be Skylar Moore, Destin Moore, Elbert Clanton, and Keith Herston.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
