Billy Eugene Ayers, 72, of Loretto, passed away October 4, 2010 at Popular Estates Assisted Living in Columbia, after a brief illness. He was retired from Modine Manufacturing Co. and served in the National Guard.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Gina King (Kevin) of Thompson Station, TN
Grandchildren: Taylor and Morgan King of Thompson Station, TN
Brothers:
Clentice Ayers (Kathryn) of Pegram, TN
Maurice Ayers (Ann Sue) of Loretto, TN
He was preceded in death by:
Parents: James Walter and Sarah Elsie Brown Ayers
Wife: Vernon Ayers
Son: Christopher Ryan Ayers
Brother: Hassell Ayers
Sisters: Lela Patt and Vesta Kiss
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 5, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mike Ayers and Bro.Wayne Martin officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Loretto.
