Obituary of Elba Marie Tidwell

Elba "Sister" Tidwell, Age 88, passed from this life and was delivered into the Hands of God, Sunday, December 13, 2009, at ECM Hospital of natural causes. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Church of Christ, having attended Lone Cedar Church of Christ until she became disabled. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Greenhill Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow visitation at 1 PM at Cox Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Cletus Tidwell. Mrs. Tidwell was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, William L. Tidwell and her parents, Alvin and Velma Crunk Richardson. She is survived by her sons: Marvin & Arlin(Sharon) Tidwell and her daughters Margie(John) Ashby and Wilma (Billy) Thompson. She is also survived by: Grandson: Joseph(Jeniffer) Tidwell Granddaughters: Emmie Tidwell and Celeste Tidwell Great Granddaughter: Ashley Tidwell Step Greatgranddaughter: Casey Young Greatgrandson: Joseph Blain Tidwell Brother: Alvin "Junior" Richardson & Lola Pearl Sister-In-Law: Ethel Hendrix Special Cousin: Lola Hutt Gross She was a loving mother and she loved her dogs. She will be truely missed by all who knew her. Pallbearers will be: Billy Thompson, Travis Tidwell, Donald Tidwell, Anthony Richardson, Stacy Richardson and Alex Deluna.
