Ralph Allen Balch, 77, of Florence, AL, passed away October 30, 2016 at ECM Hospital. He was a native of Lexington, AL and was a retired maintenance mechanic for Wise Alloys. Mr. Balch was a member of Nebo Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Balch is survived by: Son: Clayton Balch (Lori)-Lexington Daughters: Lucretia Hendrix (Walt) of Florence Mica Nash (Scott) of Rogersville Janet Freeze of Tuscumbia Angela Wagner (Ron) of Rogersville Brothers: J.V. Balch of Huntsville Raymond Balch of Sheffield Anthony Balch of Huntsville Sisters: Zelma Hayes of Muscle Shoals Marcie Bullock of Florence Ruth Mashburn of Liberty Grove, TN Carol Riddle of Tuscumbia Melinda McGee of Florence Grandchildren: Valerie, Amber, Steven, Breanna, Carolina, Reese, Laura, & David Great-grandchildren: Alicia Skye He was preceded in death by: Parents: Robert Villard Balch and Goldie Clayton Allen Balch Wife: Brenda Peden Balch Brother: Wendell Balch Sister: Louise Williams Visitation will be Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Orris Bullock officiating. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery. Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
