Obituary of Edward "Buddy" Posey

Edward Nelson "Buddy" Posey, 73, of St. Joseph, TN, passed away June 13, 2011, at his home of an extended illness. He was an aircraft mechanic and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Posey was a member of the Church of Christ. He was well known in the area for his musicianship as well as the music benefits that he arranged. Mr. Posey provided entertainment in local nursing homes and his music building was always open for everyone to enjoy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Leon and Vernice Russell Posey; brothers George Leon Posey, John Thomas Posey, and William Lewis Posey; and his sister Doris Hale.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15, 2011, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, June 16, 2011 in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Leon Smith officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Sparks, Tray Belvins, Vince Barnett, Josh Howard, Blake Potts, and Jim Posey.
