Gertie Mae May, 78 of Killen, Al., passed away December 31, 2015 after an extended illness.
Mrs. May was a native of Lauderdale County, Al. She was a member of the Church of Christ, was a Homemaker and was a retired seamstress from H.D.Lee Company.
Mrs. May is survived by:
Son: Charles Allen May
Daughter: Sherlon Ann White & Husband: Phillip Keith White
Sisters: Hassie Franks & Dorothy Clanton
5-Grandchildren
11-Great Grandchildren
Mrs. May was preceded in death by her husband: Charlie Tilton May, parents: Will Davis & Phoebe Davis, brothers: Billy , Ledford, James, Johnny & Bobby Davis. Sister: Chris Nobles and Grandson: Chuck Neal May.
Graveside service will be Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery , Bro. Bill Brazier officiating.
Pallbearers will be: Stephen Eaton, William H. Franks, James Franks, Cody Williams ,Jerry Oliver and Ryan Bucker.
The family would like thank Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home for all their love and care of our Mother. Thank you to Dr. Auxier, our Mother dearly loved you.
