John Curtis Smith, 76, of Watauga, TN, died March 5, in Rancho Santa Fe, California. He was formerly from Loretto, a retired Chief Petty Officer in the U. S. Navy, and a Manufacturing Engineer. He was a Baptist, a member of The Gideons, Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and Veterans Organizations.
Survivors include: Daughters: Cheryl R. Smith - Havre de Grace, MD Maxine Miller and husband Chip - Rancho Santa Fe, CA (3) Grandchildren (3) Great Grandchildren
A graveside service will be held June 19, 2009, at 11:00am at Restview Cemetery in Loretto, with full Military Honors.
