Obituary of Mary E. Purser

Mary Evelyn Purser, 70, of Iron City, TN, passed away March 22, 2015 after an extended illness. She was a retired supervisor for Green Oaks Inn and was of the Church of Christ faith.
Mrs. Purser is survived by husband Paul Ray Purser; son Donnie Ray Purser; daughter Amanda Kay Smith and husband Kevin; brother Cletus Rhodes; granddaughter Shayla Purser; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents John Henry and Florence Della Rhodes Purser; brothers Grady, Dalton, Larry, and Bobby Purser; and sisters Joyce Hayes and Nadine Cox.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Joe Vandyke officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
