Obituary of Roland Rogers

Roland Eudine Rogers, 69, of Killen, AL, passed away September 25, 2014 at ECM Hospital in Florence. Mr. Rogers was retired from Brown's Ferry Security and was a retired United States Army Veteran. He was a member of The Fraternal Order of Police, and a member of American Legion Post #146. Mr. Rogers is survived by wife Linda Rogers; sons Larry Rogers (Libby) of Greenhill, Eddie Rogers (Carla) of Summertown, TN, and Dustin Rogers (Stacy) of Ethridge, TN; daughters Michele Hyde of Greenhill and Amber Pate (Tim) of Killen; and (9) grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents Roland Rogers and Edna Tidwell; and sister Barbara Lawson. Visitation will be Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 6-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday graveside at Tri-Cities Memorial Garden in Florence, AL at 1:00 P.M. with Lane Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with military honors. Pallbearers will be Jacob Pigg, Shannon Barrett, Tim Pate, Keith Lawson, Steve Poss, and Kane Rogers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bo Rogers, Drew Rogers, Ryan Pigg, Kolton Springer, and TVA Employees. Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
