Dennis Edwin Thompson, 58, of Killen, passed away March 29, 2011, after an extended illness. He was a retired truck driver for Tuscumbia Waste Management and a Baptist.
Survivors include:
Wife: Brenda Kay Davis
Brothers:
Tony Thompson
Tim Thompson
Numerous Nieces and Nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Lillian Aline Thompson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 30, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Greg Dial officiating. Burial will be in Center Hill Church of Christ Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Eric Thompson, Jeffery Thompson, Michael Thompson, Daniel Thompson, James Davis, Steven Nelms, Johnny Jones, and Bradley Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Kelley and Melvin Davis.
The family would like to thank Mr. Thompson's doctors, Community Health of Rogersville, Hospice of the Shoals, everyone who has sent cards and food, and the many prayers received during this difficult time.
