Douglas Glenn Townsend, 74, of Greenhill, passed away May 21, 2014, at his residence. He was a retired electrician with the Florence Utilities Department.
Survivors include:
Son: Timothy Mark Townsend and wife Martha
Grandchildren: Jonathan, Jeremy, and Jessica Townsend
Great Grandchildren: Cody, Chase, Landon, Chandler, Haylee, and Hannah Townsend
Preceded in death by:
Sons: Trent and Jonathan Townsend
Parents: Mary Ann Watkins and J. E. Townsend
Brother: Jimmy Townsend
Visitation will be Sunday, May 25, from 11:30-1:30pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:30pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be in Lone Cedar Church of Christ Cemetery.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
