Mr. John Robert Olive, 79, of Lawrenceburg, passed away March 13, 2011, at ECM Hospital in Florence. He was retired from Ford Motor Company and a member of Atlas Church of Christ.
Survivors include:
Wife: Faye McCord Olive - Lawrenceburg, TN
Son: Jeff (Sheila) Olive - Killen, AL
Daughter:Jawan (Russell) Smith - Killen
Step Daughters:
Christi (Chris) Grinder - Lawrenceburg, TN
Mitzi (George) Barturen - Lawrenceburg, TN
Sisters:
Nadine Smith - Killen, AL
Frankie (Jimmy) Stewart - Killen, AL
Brother: Bruce Olive - Killen, AL
(5) Grandchildren and (3) Step Grandchildren
Preceded in death by:
Parents: Tom and Emma Olive
Brother: Monty Olive
Sisters: Agnes Smith and Ann Glover
Visitation will be Monday, March 14, 2011, from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:30pm at the funeral home with Bro. Van Vansandt officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
