Fredrick Leon “Freddy” Butler, 74, of Florence, passed away January 8, 2025, at his residence. He was retired from NAFCO.
Survivors include:
Sons: Dale Butler & Duane Butler
Daughter: Melanie McWilliams (Harlan)
Brother: O.L. Butler
Sisters: Brenda Pettus & Patricia Newton (Alfred)
(11) grandchildren; (20) great grandchildren
Preceded in death by:
Wife: Joanne Gautney Butler
Parents: Otis Leo Butler & Vera Mae Richardson Butler
Brother-in-law: Ed Pettus
Best friend: Kenneth Miller
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Brent Butler and Andy Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Will Bevis, Will Armstrong, Dustin Butler, Caleb Butler, Hunter Butler & Noah Marks.
