James Arley Howell, 85, of Leoma, TN, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 at his residence. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a retired Asphalt Plant Supervisor for Rogers Group, and a faithful member of Copperas Branch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by: Parents: Audrey and Rosie Howell First wife: Joyce McDow Howell Second wife: Mable Joiner Jewell Howell He is survived by: Sons: Jeff Howell (Sue) and Tracy Howell (Liza), both of Leoma, TN; and Eddie Jewell (Kim) of Lawrenceburg, TN Daughters: Kathy Kermicle (Danny) and Karla Pigg (Mike), both of Pulaski, TN Brother: Stanley Howell (Ann) of Athens, AL Sister: Christene (Buck) of Five Points, TN (17) grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel with Richard Clinard officiating. Burial will be in Center Point Methodist Church Cemetery.
