William Gene Davis (71) was born July 8, 1953 to Shirley and Alvin Davis. William passed away on Sunday, October 20. 2024 at home. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel. The burial will follow at Hale Cemetery. Tim Grigsby will be Officiating. William was known as Poochie and Willie by his friends. William was a member of Atlas Church of Christ. Poochie leaves behind the love of his life Sheila Hale Davis, (3) loving girls Amy Beck (Ken), Diane Murphy (Glen), and Ashley Letson (Lee), (7) precious grandkids, and (2) precious great grandkids. Pallbearers will be Tristan Beck, Todd Clemons, Brian Davis, Lamon McCreless, Keith Michael, Mike Haworth, Cyle Cabler, and Scott Kelly. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Letson, Lynn Hamner, Eric Snoddy, Tim Cabler, Kenneth Hale, and Chad Glover. The Family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice, NAMC, Greenhill Funeral Home, and the Greenhill Pharmacy Girls for all the love and care not only for Poochie but for all of us.
