Obituary of Edward Robertson

Edward Robertson, 83, formerly of Lexington, Alabama, passed September 1st. He was a member of Lexington Methodist Church. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He shared a love of wrestling with his great-grandson, Canaan and they enjoyed watching their favorite wrestling show on Friday nights together. Edward was preceded in death by his daughter, Janet Barley; parents, Noah and Elizabeth Robertson; brother, Leon; sisters, Sue Nelson and Carolyn Watkins. Edward is survived by his wife Faye; granddaughter, Ashley (Justin) Griffin; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Canaan, and Sawyer Griffin; brother Olen (Polly); sisters Gladys (Colin) Gallien; Patricia (Dwight) St. Romain; and Darlene (Jerry) Bogus; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, September 6 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Lexington Methodist Church. Funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. with burial at Pettus Cemetery. Bro. Eric Brown and Bro. Phil Springer will officiate. Pallbearers will be Justin Griffin, Wayne Killen, Al Gallien, Robby Jones, Roger Walker, and Glen Creekmore Honorary Pallbearer will be Canaan Griffin Special thanks to Dr. Jeremy Thompson and Hospice of North Alabama.
