Obituary of Marjorie Johnson Walker

Marjorie (Margie) Johnson Walker, 77, of Florence, AL, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024. She was born in Lauderdale County on April 6, 1946. Visitation will on be Thursday, January 11th, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will also be Thursday, January 11th, at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Chris Aday and Grandson Justin Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Garden. She was preceded in death by her Husband Thomas (Buddy) Walker, Daddy Elvis Lee Johnson, Mama Leola Harris Montgomery, Stepdad Deward Montgomery and grandparents Henry Lee & Frances Mae Johnson. Daughters Felecia Smith & husband Brent, Waterloo and Keyna Walker, Florence. Granddaughter Kelsey Ramsey & husband Cameron, Waterloo. Grandsons Justin Smith & wife Kaitlin, Florence and Dakota Burns & wife Destiny, Chattanooga, Tn. Great grandson Bowen Keith Smith, Sister Janice Rhodes, Florence, brother and sister n law Bill & June Walker, Elkmont and nieces and nephews. She loved watching Barn Builders, Food Network and Pioneer Woman and working Crossword puzzles. Pallbearers will be Justin Smith, Dakota Burns, Cameron Ramsey, Scotty Johnson, Greg Rhodes and Buford Clanton. Honorary Pallbearers will be John David Moreland and Bill Walker. We can never say enough how much we truly appreciate Dr. Lyman Mitchell and Dr. William Heaton for all of their Love and Dedication to helping Mom and our family. They never ever gave up on trying to help and heal her. THANK YOU so very much.
