Carolyn Marie Hopkins Brown, 73, of Killen, AL, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023. Carolyn was born February 25, 1950 in Manchester, TN. Carolyn was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith.
Carolyn is survived by:
Husband: Jerry Brown
Children: Daniel Brown, Clint Brown and wife Jill, and Stacy Buchanan and husband Chris
Grandchildren: Dusty Brown, Kenzie Burks, Garrett Brown, Jaren Brown, Emilee McDaniel, Devin Buchanan, Lakin Jenkins, and Zoie Henry
(9) Great-grandchildren
Sisters: Peggy Max and Laura Townsley
She was preceded in death by:
Parents: Clark and Lucy Hopkins
Son: Michael Brown
Brothers: Hughlon Hopkins and Buck Cornelison
Sisters: Faye Taylor, Mary Brand, and Nancy Weeks
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel. Burial will be in Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Garrett Brown, Dusty Brown, Steven Brown, Doug Brown, Devin Starns, and Chris Buchanan.
