June Mitchell Belk, 84, of Tuscumbia, passed away June 23, 2023, at North Alabama Medical Center. She was secretary for Anderson News, a kindergarten teacher and a member of First Baptist Church of Tuscumbia. Survivors include: Son: Scott White (Trudy) Daughter: Rebecca Hovater (William) Sister: Patricia Griffen (Lindsey) Grandchildren: Brentley, Kendral, Sumer, Kathryn(P.J.), Margaret, Andrea, Laken, Rodney(Jordon), Willie(Randa), Brantley, Alexia(Matthew) & Vivien (10) Great grandchildren Daughter-in-law: Robbie White Special friends: Sarah, Connie & Jean Preceded in death by: Husband: John Belk Parents: Ally Glen Mitchell & Doris Elizabeth Mitchell Son: Mark White Brothers: Jerry Mitchell & Rodney Mitchell Visitation will be on Monday, June 26, 2023, from 11:00am – 1:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Barrett Long officiating. Burial will be at Greenhill Cemetery. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Lango for the many years of loving care.
