Obituary of Carolyn Sue Woods

Carolyn Sue Woods, 57, of Florence, passed away May 22, 2022, at North Alabama Medical Center. She was a loving mother, homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: Daughters: Candice Woods & Katie Woods Brothers: Ira Woods & Larry Woods Sister: Brenda Terry Many nieces & nephews, along with great nieces & nephews, and many other children that she loved dearly. Preceded in death by: Parents: Deward Arvel Woods & Bonnie Carr Woods Soulmate: James Lindsey Brother: Charlie Woods Visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 11:00am – 1:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Wolf Creek Cemetery. Carolyn was and is a child of God and has found her forever home with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made for funeral expense.
