Obituary of Dorothy Jean Faught

Dorothy Jean Edwards Faught, 84, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away September 21, 2021 at NHC Scott Healthcare. Dorothy was a retired factory worker and also worked for the Wayne County School System in the Transportation Department. She was a native of Williamson County, TN and of the Baptist faith. Dorothy was also a member of the Eastern Star. She was a past Department President of the American Legion Auxiliary, a lifetime member of the Auxiliary, a former member of the Loretto Auxiliary, and a member of American Legion Auxiliary Columbia Unit 19. Dorothy is survived by: Sisters: Julia Byrd, Glenda Dodd, Janet Waynick, Teresa Taft, and Priscilla Roberts Brothers: James Edwards, Randall Edwards, Kenneth Edwards, and Charles Edwards Step-Children: Jimmy, Jerry, Booker, and Wesley Faught; Jo Anna, Sharon, and Amber Faught, & Rani Johnson (Donald) (26) Nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by: Parents: James Henry and Iva Mae Fly Edwards Husband: James William Faught Sister: Mary Lucille Crafton Niece: Melissa Daubenspeck Visitation will be Friday, September 24, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be graveside at 1:00 P.M. at Bishop Chapel Cemetery with Chaplain Wayne Martin officiating. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
