Jester David Poss, 79, of Killen, AL, passed away August 9, 2021 at UAB Hospital. Mr. Poss was a retired concrete truck driver and a member of the Church of Christ faith.
Mr. Poss is survived by:
Sons: Rickey David Poss & Michael Steven Poss
Grandsons: Tyler Poss, Zack Poss, and William Poss
Great-grandsons: Kal-el Nobles, Silas Nobles, Lane Poss, and Payton Danley
Granddaughters: Wendy Danley & Katie Callahan
Great-granddaughters: Grace Poss, Darby Poss, Brentlee Cook, and Mattie Grace Danley
Brothers: Alvin Poss & Dearl Poss
He was preceded in death by:
Parents: Arilie Poss and Idell Jackson Poss
Wife: Carolyn Lester Poss
Visitation will be Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Miles Stutts officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Poss, Zack Poss, Alvin Poss, Jr., Jason Danley, Greg Wigington, and Gerald Whitman. Honorary pallbearers will be William Poss, Kal-el Nobles, Silas Nobles, Payton Danley, and Chase Callahan.
