Jack Allen Harrell, Sr., of Lexington, AL, passed away August 6, 2021, at Hellen Keller Hospital. He was a retired carpenter, a Baptist, a member of the American Legion Post #146, Life member of the VFW #1918, and a DAV Life Member. Survivors include: Wife: Wanda S. Holden Sons: Jack Harrell, Jr. (Mary Lou), Emry Harrell (Tosha), & Shane Holden (Mae) Daughter: Lisa Ashby (Darren) Brothers: Larry Harrell (Angie) & David Harrell (Vickie) Sisters: Tina Caldwell (JR) & Lily Amaya (Tony) (7) grandchildren; (2) great-grandchildren Preceded in death by: Parents: Forrest Leroy Harrell & Beverly Farrell Harrell Brothers: Frosty Harrell & Stevie Harrell Sister: Sheryl Elliott Grandchild: Brett Kirch Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, August 8, 2021, from 12:00 – 2:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Bud Hale officiating. Full military honors will follow the funeral service. Pallbearers will be: Stephen Scott, Kenney Killen, Steve Copeland, Mike Phillips, Mikey Phillips & Andy Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be: Darren Ashby, Gage Holden & Grayson Ashby. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
