Sarah Francis Adkins, 85, of Florence, AL, passed away April 18, 2012 after an extended illness.
She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include:
Son: Rocky Adkins- Springville, AL

James Pettus (Margie) -Greenhill
Vernon Pettus (Gail) - Florence
Sisters:
Marcell Jones- Greenhill
Millinea Garner- Florence
Grandchildren:
Eric Adkins- Jacksonville, NC
Sarah Adkins- Birmingham
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Taylor and Georgia Davis Pettus; her brothers Britten, Herlon, and Eugene Pettus; and her grandson Joshua Adkins.
Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2012 from 12:00-2:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Tim Williams officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Randy Jones, Marty Jones, Ronnie Jones, Kelly Garner, Mike Garner, Leon Pettus, Phillip Pettus, Danny Ray Pettus, Rodney Pettus, and Alan Pettus.
The family would like to thank Alacare and Dr. Ricky Irons for their special care.
