I remember him still as a kid. I can still see that kid in that picture. Wild curly blonde hair freckles everywhere. St Joe Elementary, at recess running around the field catching chicken chokers. He liked to use them to fish with. He really was a good athlete, we would year after year trade 2nd place in the races on field day. We were young but he had a kindness about him that I still remember to this day. I had not spoken to him in years, since we moved to South Lawrence and he went back to Greenhill. I thought about him the other day for some weird reason, dont know why bec it had been decades just wondered where he had been and what he had been up to. Felt a terrible sadness to read this today. Prayers to the family. He was definitely one if the nicest people I have ever met.
