Barry Wayne Springer, 49, of Lexington, AL, passed away at his home on January 7, 2020 with loved ones by his side. Barry was an Operating Engineer for Alabama Painting and a member of the Church of Christ. Barry was also a member of Operating Engineer Local 320.
Barry is survived by:
Father: Wayne Springer (Ernie)
Beloved Girlfriend: Carla Fountain Sisk
Sons: Bodey Wayne Springer and Jake Springer
Daughters: Victoria Scott (Andrew) and Lauren Allred (Brent)
(3) Grandchildren: Jackson Cromwell, Lincoln Scott, and Madelyn Drew Scott
Grandmother: Opal English
Uncles & Aunts: Donnie Springer (Agnes) and Dallas Springer (Gwen)
Aunts: Maria Ann “P-Nut” and Dianna White
Nieces: Paige Rizzo & Kalee Balentine
Faithful Companion: Knuckles
He was preceded in death by:
Mother: Kay Springer Walker
Sister: Sondra Springer
Grandfather: Charlie Springer
Uncle: James Allen Springer
Visitation will be Friday, January 10, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Kevin Black officiating. Burial will be in Richardson Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Natji Baker, Jeremy Keeton, Cody McKelvey, Tommy Patterson, Jimmy Gargis, and Haken Baker.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne and Bodey Springer, Gordon Cox, Eric Short, and Mike Davis.
The family would like to especially thank Dr. Johnson and staff at Clearview Cancer Institute and the doctor and nurses at Encompass Hospice.
