I met mark in the late 90s on IRC for a table top game. We've been friends ever since then, even though sometimes life kept us from staying in touch regularly. We had a lot of good times and some great storytelling.
We had started talking again regularly a few weeks ago. He didn't tell me he was sick, he indicated he was still working. From the tribute details mentioning hospice, maybe he didn't want to bother me with it, or it was sudden.
Regardless, he'll be missed.
Sincerely,
Trinten

"Greyghost" as he was known to me on the PlayStation Network and in our group of 10-15 Destiny 2 players will be sorely missed. Speaking with him online inside the game and using our groups' chat rooms, he always seemed like a very caring person, a loving dad and was always a team player. I'll remember that Mark was personally very kind to me and gave me great advice when my now 5-year-old son was born.

We loved spending Sunday morning Small Group time studying the Word with Mark and growing closer as friends. And we cherish the memories of talks around the table at pool parties. He was such a loving, caring man. I know he's in Heaven with Jesus - and nothing can compare to that - but we miss him terribly! - Steve and Terica Meador John 14:1-4 ❤

Mark and I were good friends. He and I played a lot of chess in the seventh grade. We played before school, at recess, and sometimes on the bus. Mark was a good guy. He visited me here in huntsville later in life. Mark was a blessing to me.

So, so many memories of fun times and class trips and Cub Scouts with Mark.
We never forget the sweet memories of childhood and he is forever implanted in mine.
