Edna Joy Weems, 72, of Florence, passed away January 18, 2012. She was a member of Community Freewill Baptist Church and a sewing machine operator for H. D. Lee.

James E. Weems and wife Shelia of Harrisburg, PA
Johnny R. Weems and wife Kay of Rogersville, AL
Michael L. Weems of Chattanooga, TN
Sister: Elois Cottles and husband Vertis of Killen, AL
Grandchildren: Kati Weems and Heather Weems
Preceded in death by:
Husband: William Lee Weems
Daughter: Joyce Marie Weems
Parents: Curtis Nute and Nancy Ella McMurtrey

Visitation will be Friday, January 20, from 6:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Bro. Malcolm Scott officiating. Burial will be in Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Curtis, Chucky Baker, Roy Davis, Terry McMurtrey, Buck Thornton, and Carl Simpson.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
