Dorothy McGee Young, 85, of Florence, AL, passed away January 7, 2012 after an extended illness. She was a retired seamstress from Genesco and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include:
Brother: Jimmy McGee of Killen
Nieces: Margie Owen of Eclectic, AL and Glenda Morrow of Florence
Nephews: Larry McGee of Florence and Rolf McGee of Madison, AL
Several Great Nieces, Great Nephews, and Great-great nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mettie Gray McGee; and by (2) brothers and (1) sister.
Visitation will be Monday, January 9, 2012 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Tim Grigsby officiating. Burial will be in Hill Cemetery.
