Rodney Allen Atwell, 46, of Iron City, passed away January 6, 2012, at his residence. He was disabled and a Baptist.
Survivors include:
Wife: Samantha Gail Stults Atwell
Father: Johnny Allen Atwell - Iron City
Sons: Frank Channing Bromley - Shelbyville, TN and Jacob Allen Atwell - Iron City
Step-son: Jonathan Tucker - Iron City
Daughters: Virginia Paige Atwell - Florence and Britta Rumbough
Step-daughter: Amber Rowen - Ft. Bragg, NC
Brother: Shannon Kent Atwell - Lawrenceburg
(4) Grandchildren
Preceded in death by:
Mother: Peggy Ruth Jenkins
Brother: Johnny Andrew Atwell
Visitation will be Saturday, January 7, from 6:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Bro. Greg Morris officiating. Burial will be in Wade Cemetery in Iron City.
Pallbearers will be Tate Tidwell, Scotty Rhodes, Melvin Powers, Seth Chambers, Tracy Richardson, and Alan Linville. Honorary pallbearer will be Phillip Clemmons.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
