Berry Nathaniel Morton, 54, of Iron City, TN, passed away December 26, 2011 of a brief illness. He was a native of Lawrence County and a casket finisher/reflower at Verplank Enterprises.
He is survived by:
Wife: Nora Daphane Morton
Son: Christopher Ivan Draine of Shelbyville, TN
Daughters: Tallensi Mata Morton of Iron City and Ashley Rasha Morton of Iron City
Brothers: John Morton of Iron City, William Morton of Detroit, MI, Alvan Morton of Iron City, and Joe Morton of Iron City
Sisters: Sarah Wilson of Kentucky, Dewotha Lynn of Georgia, and Carolyn Ewing of Tennessee
(5) Grandchildren: Tevin Mitchell, Deondra Draine, Ivan Draine, and Caleb Draine
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Newton and Virginia Dare Allen Morton.
Visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2011 from 12:00-2:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Greg Morris officiating. Burial will be in Wade Cemetery.
