Obituary of Ottis Lenzie Fleming

Ottis Lenzie Fleming, 90, of Loretto, TN, passed away August 30, 2018. Mr. Fleming was retired from Reynolds Alloys and a member of Loretto First Baptist Church. He was a World War II Navy Veteran, where he served as a Seaman 1st Class. He was also a member of The Order of the Eastern Star #472 in Loretto, the Loretto Masonic Lodge #655, Al Menah Shriners, DAV Chapter 20, American Legion Post #146, and the VFW.

 

                Mr. Fleming is survived by:

                                Daughters: Connie Staggs (Butch)

                                                    Pamela Fleming Matthews

                                                    Patsy Kimbrell (David)

                                Stepsons: Jeffrey Johnson (Kimberly)

                                                 James Johnson (Tory)

                                                  Randall Johnson

                                Step-daughter: Kimberly Lumsden (Larry)

                                Brother: Wayne Fleming

                                Sister: Imodene Marks

                                Grandchildren: Krystal Richter (Randy)

                                                         Heather Mercer (Dakota)

                                                         Taylor Matthews

                                Great-grandchild: Rachel Richter

                                Step-grandchildren: Brittany Roberts (Lee)

                                                                 Ashli, Ayrton, & Akira Johannsson

                                                                 Cullwell Johnson

                                                                  Wyatt Johnson

                                                                   Chase Thomas

                                Step-great-grandchildren: Hayden and Brady Roberts

 

                He was preceded in death by:

 

                                Parents: William Milford Fleming and Lucy Lovanna Wilson Fleming

                                Son-in-law: Dennis Matthews

                                Stepson: Robert Johnson

                                Brothers: Hollis, Loyd, and Uton Fleming

 

                Visitation will be Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Clayton Wilbanks officiating. The burial will be at Liberty Grove Cemetery with full military honors.

 

                Pallbearers will be Randy Richter, Dakota Mercer, Eddie Gordon, Larry Lumsden, Chase Thomas, and Ronald Killen . Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Fleming, Stanley Fleming, members of the DAV Chapter 20, members of Loretto Masonic Lodge #655, and Tim Davis.

 

                In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriners Children Hospital.
