Obituary of Barbara Powell

Barbara Joann Hazelwood Powell, 72, of Iron City, TN, passed away February 6, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Powell was born in Noblesville, IN to William Jasper Hazelwood and Sarah Frances Owens Hazelwood and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Powell, Sr.

                                                Janice Arnold (Wayne) of Leoma, TN

                                Brothers: Bill Hazelwood of Lawrenceburg, TN

                                                   Jack Hazelwood (Edie) of Anderson, IN

                                                   Carl Hazelwood (Janet) of Noblesville, IN

                                Sisters: Pat Aicher of IL

                                                Charlotte Kitchens (Kenny) of IN

                                                Carlene Powell (Willie C.) of Iron City, TN

                                                Gloria Branham (Danny) of IN

                                (15) Grandchildren and (17) great-grandchildren

                Visitation will be Wednesday, February 7th from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Greg Morris officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
