Ella E. Thornton
Ella Elizabeth Thornton, 88, of Greenhill, passed away October 21, 2011, at her residence after an extended illness. She was a retired factory worker from Salant & Salant, and a Methodist.
Survivors include: Brother: James A. Thornton Sisters: Mary L. McLaurine Marguerite Lind
Preceded in death by: Parents: Thomas Houston and Edna May Richardson Thornton
A graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, October 23 at 2:00pm at Richardson Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Mark Woodruff officiating. Pallbearers will be nephews.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to caretaker Janice Keeton and to Hospice of the Shoals for their care.
