Obituary of Charles Kennedy

~~Charles Edward Kennedy, 72, of Florence, AL, passed away May 8, 2017 at El Reposo Nursing Home. Mr. Kennedy was retired from Southwire and a member of Milner’s Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a proud maintenance supervisor at Tee Jays for 25 years. Mr. Kennedy was also a veteran of the United States Army.

 Mr. Kennedy is survived by:

  Wife: Judy Rhodes Kennedy
  Daughters: Deanna Stovall (Harry) & Patti Dison (Brian)
  Brother: Franklin L. Kennedy (Shirley)
Grandchildren: Ashley Stovall Darracott (Zach), Haley Dison, Abby Stovall, & Hannah Dison

 He was preceded in death by parents Enoch Kennedy and Rachel Bradley Kennedy.

 Visitation will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Rickey Green and Bro. Mike Samuels officiating. Burial will be in Emmaline Stutts Cemetery with full military honors. Pallbearers will be friends and family.

 The family would like to thank Hospice of the Shoals and El Reposo Nursing Home for their care during this time.  Memorials may be made to Milner’s Chapel Building Fund.
