Obituary of Terry Balentine

Terry Balentine, 52, of Sheffield, AL, died October 22, 2010 at home after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his mother, Varnell Balentine. He leaves behind his father, Johnnie D. Balentine, two sons, Darren Balentine and Nathan Balentine, one daughter, Amanda Curtis. Also, brothers, Sammie (Cindy), Ronald, Johnny, Billy, James (Kathy), and Rayburn Balentine; sisters, Shirley Robbins (Randy), Patricia Smith (Jerry), Brenda Call (Dan), Jane Killen, Teresa Lawson, and Diane Johnson. 26 nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 24, from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday at 11:00am at the funeral home with Bro. Larry Burbank officiating. Burial will be in Pettus Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dale Balentine, Latrell Powell, Anthony Smith, Jay Willard, Tim Smith, and Clayton Green. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Powell, Danny Balentine, Mike Balentine, and Jeff Balentine.
